The Oxbow Lake Baptist Church Media Library is available for the purpose of providing teaching and learning materials for the fellowship of Oxbow Lake Baptist Church, as well as for literary education and enjoyment.

Selection Policy

In order for all materials secured for our media library to be of the highest quality and of the greatest benefit to our leaders and members, these selections guidelines will be followed.

1. All materials for the media library will be approved by the library staff.

2. The library staff will endeavor to assure that media will be accurate in fact, scriptural interpretation and doctrine. It should be noted that many times materials may be constructive in influence, but be questionable in scriptural interpretation. In such cases, library users are encouraged to personally search the scriptures for doctrinal accuracy.

3. Materials should include and reflect sound educational methods and should aid in learning.

4. Materials should reflect Christian standards of conduct and should be free of racial and religious prejudice, political bias, social injustice and other evidences of unchristian attitude and actions.

5. Gifts to the media center are encouraged. All gifts must meet the standards as noted above. No provisional gifts will be accepted.
